There are a few groups of giants wandering around in the western part of this area between Bargha and Pyrog's Cave. Like all monsters in this game, they drop very little loot.
Here are three rubies to be picked up. If your Cave Skill is low enough (less than 8) you will be attacked by 7 giants.
Peering into this pool increases your lead character's Cave Lore by one.
In this tunnel you come across a body with a Steel Broadsword and nobody attacks you!
Here is the key which opens the gate to the east.
Giants and a locked gate are obstructing the way north (I on the Worldmap).
Here are some boats for the taking. They probably belong to the giants. In any case you need one to be able to explore the northern waters (J on the Worldmap).
You need the Orb of Thralni to reach the northern shore of this pond where some mandrake is growing.
This dragon is a nasty piece of work.
If you fly over the chasm you will be able to enter a very confusing cave.
Inside this ancient tower is a mouldy altar. If you destroy it you get a few XP but its guardians appear: 2 Mung, a Cryos and 4 cave Demons.
By the side of a secluded lake which can be reached by boat from the Northern Waters is an ancient stone tower. Inside, you find a moldy altar. If you pray at the altar you will be healed and your energy restored. Alternativly you can destroy the altar, in which case you have to fight a Cyros, two Mung and four Cave Demons.
