This town has also suffered from the raid on Cotra. Although not so many as in Silva there are still lots of refugees here.

Captain Johnson | Commander | Tells you a bit about this fort and can be very offensive about "kitties" and the slithzerikai. He will give you the mission to erradicate a group of sliths hiding somewhere NW of Cotra (Reward: 300 coins, 25 xp and 4 reputation). | Quest |
It is always a good idea to talk to everybody. There are no hidden rooms, traps or puzzles in this town. The locked door to the west of Captain Johnson's office leads to two empty prison cells.
There are naturally guards all around, who do not say anything. On the west side of the town near the lake is a compound for refugees from Cotra. You can talk to them but will not learn anything new.
In Amalia's shop is a hidden door onto the lakeside where you will find nothing. There is however a crate in her shop containing Magic Lockpicks. If you want to, you could push it into an empty room (e.g. in the inn) and steal them.
Walner's quest is of course very simple: Mother Claissa in the Tower of Magi. Reward: 10 xp and a Greymould Salve. Do not sell the salve or use it yourself; you will need it for a number of encounters (see Notes about Greymould).
There is an inn run by Alice. Rooms here are cheap (5 coins).
