This is the Empire fort Khoth destroyed in his search for his stolen Scroll. There is not a great deal to be found here except some hints about the whereabouts of the scroll.
As soon as you get inside you will find a wide variety of monsters including a Gazer, Shielding Masses, Ernormous Bats and an Ur-Basilisk. To the east is Xynea of Clarity, some Shielding Masses and another Gazer. (Ward of Thoughts helps against Xynea.) After killing them you can look around. There remains very little of interest lying around. A few bodies however have a some equipment like Chain Mail, which might be worth taking.
In the SW behind a locked door is a laboratory. There are a few potion ingredients on the table.
To the NW of the lab is a locked bedroom with a chest containing 6o coins and a Healing Elixir. In the east wall of the bedroom is a hidden door to a storage chamber with a chest containing some coins, a Ruby and Fine Razordiscs coins. To the north of this chamber is a magical barrier which needs Dispel Barriers L3 and leads to a river bank where a chest containing an Energy Elixir, a Wisdom Crystal and a Scroll – Powerlash can be found.
In the NE corner of the dungeon is a barrier blocking the way to an office with a ghost. Be careful when talking to this spirit because you only get one chance. It is best to save the game beforehand. It tells you that Khoth destroyed this fort because they stole a scroll describing some protections from him. It also tells about a strange blue crystal with a spirit inside, which they found in a new fort near the giants. It then realises that it has divulged a bit too much and disappears.
It actually does not matter very much if you did not get all the information out of the ghost because it is all written down in a scroll which can be found in the desk.
