This is a large farm like many in Avernum. You can buy food (at an exorbitant price) and learn bartering (if you want to). Tor the farmer gives you a quest and Carol his wife is a healer.

He will nevertheless sell you food at an exorbitant price and give you the mission to clear some salamanders out of his cellar (Reward: Shielding Charm, 10 xp and 1 reputation). It is always a good idea to talk to everybody. The following notes give hints on hidden rooms, traps and puzzles.
The slamanders are in a cave in the northeast of the homestead. There is some food in the crates and barrels.
Tor's aversion to Nephilim does not affect his prices, the reward he gives you or his teaching barter. If you do not have one in your party he will be even more offensive about nephilim.
