This is the next attempt in compiling the GP boots that have been available unofficially over the years.

- Both boots came from a radio broadcast.

- This album was compiled from two 1979 radio shows from San Francisco and Chicago. First official release 10/1/1996 by Arista in the USA on one CD together with "Squeezing Out Sparks."

SWEET HOME CHICAGO boot CD, Oh Boy 1-9122, Luxembourg
Park West, Chicago 9/29/1983

Just Like A Man / Thunder and Rain / White Honey / Life Gets Better / You Can't Take Love for Granted / Glass Jaw / Local Girls / Protection / Last Couple on the Dance Floor / Saturday Night Is Dead / Discovering Japan

- This boot CD has been dubbed from the Westwood One "In Concert" vinyl disc, as one can unfortunately hear.

BLUE HIGHWAY boot CD, Swingin' Pig TSP-CD-148, Luxembourg
Grant Park, Chicago 7/4/1988

Don't Let It Break You Down / Thunder & Rain / Local Girls / Passion Is No Ordinary Word / Durban Poison / Howlin' Wind / Sinkin' Low / Blue Highways / White Honey / Under The Mask Of Happiness / OK Hieronymous / Get Started, Start A Fire

- Taken from a WXRT radio broadcast. In 2003 this boot was officially issued on the Alchemy Magic Blue Highway CD.

DAVE EDMUNDS ALL STAR R'n'R REVUE: SOUL TO SOUL double boot CD, Buccaneer Records BUC 050/2, 1992, Italy
Warfield Theatre, San Francisco, 4/7/1990

Get Started, Start A Fire / Local Girls / My Girl / Heat Treatment
Crawling From The Wreckage (with D. Edmunds)
Keep A Knockin' (with the All-Stars)

- Taken from a King Biscuit Flower Hour radio broadcast.

THE PURPLE PARKER boot CD, Tendolar TDR-037, 1998, Japan

Stupefaction / Empty Lives (Fridays TV show, 6/1980)
Don't Ask Me Questions (1978 single version, also on "The Parkerilla")
Museum of Stupidity (UK bonus 12"-EP for the vinyl version of "Struck By Lightning")
Christmas Is For Mugs / New Year's Revolution / Soul Christmas
(band versions from the Christmas Cracker EP)
Substitute (single B-side & hidden UK bonus track on "Burning Questions")
That Thing is Rockin' / Ordinary Girl (RCA single B-sides)
Women In Charge (not the single version, but the R&T remix for the "Up Escalator" reissue)
Habit Worth Forming (single B-side, falsely called Falling At Last)
Just Like A Man / Life Gets Better / You Can't Take Love For Granted
(Westwood One "In Concert" broadcast from Park West, Chicago 9/1983)
Love Without Greed / I'm Your Puppet / Stick To Me
(Philadelphia 1996 solo, probably The Tin Angel 3/21/96)
I'm So Glad / This Town / Do Nothin' Til You Hear From Me (from the Rumour's "Max" LP)

- This strange compilation mainly features stuff quite easily available elsewhere, be it on regular compilations or even on another boot CD. The only stuff unique to this quite badly edited CD are the Fridays TV performance and the Philadelphia 1996 show. This must have been the first GP boot that drew its cover photographs from the internet.

UNRELEASED, UNPLUGGED & UNDERRATED! boot CD, Tendolar TDR-141, 1999, Japan

Pollinate / See Yourself / Force Of Nature / Museum Of Stupidity / Black Honey / (Graham Talks Tribute CD) / Sharpening Axes / They Got It Wrong (As Usual) / Disney's America / Love Without Greed / Stick To Me / Back In Time / Temporay Beauty / Get Started. Start A Fire / I'm Your Puppet / White Honey / Here It Comes Again / Heat Treatment / I'm Into Something Good

- Again a few strange edits. The GP solo show was recorded 3/21/1996 in Philadelphia.

HABIT WORTH FORMING boot CD, Popmeister POP023, Japan

Women In Charge / That Thing Is Rockin' / Museum Piece / Museum Of Stupidity / Paralysed / Everyday I Have To Cry / Ordinary Girl / When The Lights Go Down / I'm Gonna Use It Now / Too Much Time To Think / Hold Back The Night / Habit Worth Forming / No More Excuses / The Smart Bomb / Bricks & Mortar / Substitute / Beyond The Wall Of Sleep / Childhood Sweetheart / Break Them Down / Get It While You Can / That's The Way The Ball Rolls / Soul On Ice

- This are collected studio rarities mostly. "That's The Way The Ball Rolls" is the Rumour version from the UK issue of "Purity of Essence," and "Soul On Ice" is from the 1979 San Francisco radio broadcast.

OLD AND IN THE PUB boot CD, Popmeister, Japan

Dave Edmunds: Make Me Good / Some Other Guy / C'mon Little Dixie / When Will I Be Loved
Rockpile: Big Blon Baby / Knife & Folk / Teacher, Teacher
GP: Museum Piece (UK bonus 12"-EP for the vinyl version of "Struck By Lightning") /
You Hit The Spot (12" version) /
Too Much Time To Think (bonus track on original "Steady Nerves" CD) /
Museum Piece / Temporay Beauty / I'm Into Something Good (all Unplugged Philadelphia 96)
Nick Lowe: 12-Step Program / In The Game / There's A Cloud In My Heart / Crying In My Sleep / Do With Me What You Want To Do / Baby It's You
Kursaal Flyers: Yellow Sox / Pocket Money / The Sky's Fallin' In On Our Love / Little Does She Know
Winkies: Trust In Dick / Twilight Masquerade

- I guess the three Unplugged Philadelphia 96 tracks should come from the same 3/21/1996 show as the Unreleased, Unplugged & Underrated boot above.

- The first 12 tracks were taken from this broadcast from the Grant Park, Chicago, 7/4/1988.

BIJOU BLAST 1976 boot CD, probably 2003

That's What They All Say / Howlin' Wind / White Honey / Fool's Gold / Don't Ask Me Questions / Soul Shoes / Hold Back The Night

- The cover claims the first seven live songs were taken from a 4/23/76 FM broadcast, but I highly doubt the date. I guess it must have been from a late 1976 show.
