The character which is sent in should be quick (e.g. Boots of Speed if you have them), must be able to haste himself (spell or potion), must be able to unlock doors (spell or lockpicks) and be capable of dealing with 5 goblins quickly.
You will be teleported to a passage in the SW of the dungeon. Walk normally into the first chamber. The notice on the wall tells you to run, which you should do. Before crossing the runes to the north, enter combat mode and hasten yourself.
On completing the test you get 10 xp.
If you close the doors out of the second chamber, you can stop the quickfire and look in the crystal boxes in the north which contain a few items &ndash: W: Piercing Crystal, Unshackling Crystal; middle: two Fine Crystals; E: one Fine Crystal.
