This fort shields the Great Cave from the wild Slithzerikai to the north.

| Eleanor | Actress | Like most stage people she talks a lot and tells you nothing about such things as the first expedition, the Royal Seal und the Demonslayer. If you are persistant, however, she will teach Gymnastics for 1500. | |
| Scarlet | Captain | Commander of the fort. Will tell you a bit about the Slith fortification to the north. | |
| Matthias | Mage | Works on strengthening the barriers but will not teach you to dispel them. He will however ask you to take a message to Elizabeth, who lives ‘near Silvar’. | Quest |
| Hodgson | Sage | He will tell you about a patch of Greymould where three rivers in the north meet. He will also give you a quest to find arenea fangs for which you get 15xp for one pair. The remainder you must sell. (Aife in Fort Draco gives you 15 coins apiece for them – hardly worth it.) | Quest |
| Randal | Liason | He is hiding in a room to the West. Actually he says he is not hiding but he does not seem to like being out and about. He would much rather be pushing a pen in the Castle than travelling between Fort Emerald and Dranlon. |

There is no inn in this town but you can rest in the middle room to the west.
Resting and meditating before the emerald will restore your spell points.
She is the innkeeper in Cotra. She does not like being reminded of Matthias. If you do speak to her and report back to Matthias he will reward you with 100 coins, 30xp and 1 reputation.
