mainboard was done sloppily and unprofessionally.
Missing connections, short circuits
and crooked connectors are not tolerable.

Der Zusammenbau von USB Board und Mainboard wurde schlampig und
unfachmännisch ausgeführt.
Fehlende Verbindungen, Kurzschlüsse und schiefe Stecker sind nicht
tolerierbar.

Der Transistor für die Kurzwelen Verstärkung hat keine +V Versorgung
Ursache: Es wurde ein anderes SDR Modul verwendet, dass
nicht die Ausrichtung der Bauteile hat, wie das Original.

at first: My first Letter: The text to Ebay.
I
have very important information for you. If you have frequent
complaints I have found the cause. Please pass this information to the
manufacturer! Very important! After receiving the RTL_SDR Dolphin, I
installed it properly with Zadig the driver and wanted to receive with
SDR#. The driver installation worked at first, but then the device
dropped out immediately. After many attempts I decided to look for the
cause.
I
am an electronics engineer at the University of Physics, Regensburg.
Therefore qualified and experienced with SDR. To avoid a return I
opened the case and saw several errors with the naked eye.
I
documented these errors with photos!
Obviously
very sloppy work was done when installing the USB stick module on the
board.
I
list the errors:
1.
missing wire connection USB port. Only 3 of 4 wires (GND was missing).
This
is a "NO GO" and a significant quality defect.
2.
solder residues on board, which were loose in the case.
4.
vibration short circuit of the receiver module, the USB board. Probably
because of missing isolation. This is also totally unacceptable !
5.
missing components, ALL of them, on the backside of the board. All
supply capacitors , probably 100nF. As intended by the developer. This
means that the function is no longer secured,
6.
crooked soldered connector.
After
repairing the missing USB connection internally, the RTL_SDR started.
But then my PC crashes again and again because of vibration short
circuit. So the device is worthless!
You
see, there is a need for action.
How
do we proceed ?
I
want either a working replacement or the money back!
Do
you want the device returned? It is worthless!.
Operating
it with a PC will regularly cause it to crash. So never plug it in.
I
have photos of the internal errors.

you need them to prove the manufacturing the defective assembly work
Ich habe sehr wichtige Informationen für sie.
Sollten Sie häufige Reklamationen haben habe ich die Ursache gefunden.
Bitte diese Information an den Hersteller weitergeben! Sehr wichtig!
Nach Erhalt des RTL_SDR Delphin habe ich diesen ordnungsgemäß mit Zadig
den Treiber installiert und wollte mit SDR# empfangen. Die
Treiberinstallation klappte zuerst, dann jedoch viel das Gerät sofort
aus. Nach vielen Versuchen entschloss ich mich die Ursache zu suchen.
Ich bin Elektronik Ing. and der Universität Physik, Regensburg. Daher
qualifiziert und mit SDR erfahren. Um eine Rücksendung u vermeiden
öffnete ich das Gehäuse und habe mehrere Fehler mit bloßem Auge gesehen.
Diese Fehler habe ich mit Fotos dokumentiert!
Offensichtlich wurde beim Einbau des USB Stick Moduls auf die Platine
sehr schlampig gearbeitet.
Ich zähle die Fehler auf:
1. Fehlende Drahtverbindung USB Port. Nur 3 von 4 Leitungen (GND hat
gefehlt).
Das ist ein „NO GO“ und eine erheblicher Qualitätsmangel
2. Lötzinn Reste auf Platine, die lose im Gehäuse herumvielen.
4. Erschütterungskurzschluss des Empfangsmoduls, der USB Platine.
Wahrscheinlich wegen fehlender Isolation. Auch dies ist völlig
unakzeptabel !
5. Fehlende Bauteile, ALLE, auf der Rückseite der Platine. Alle Supply
Kondensatoren , wahrscheinlich 100nF. So wie vom Entwickler vorgesehen.
Damit ist die Funktion nicht mehr gesichert,
6. Schief eingelöteter Stecker.
Nach Reparatur der fehlen USB Verbindung intern, hat sich der RTL_SDR
Starten lassen. Aber dann stürz mein PC wegen Erschütterungs
Kurzschlusses immer wieder ab. Damit ist das Gerät wertlos!
Sie sehen, es gibt Handlungsbedarf.
Wie gehen wir vor ?
Ich möchte entweder eine funktionierenden Ersatz oder das Geld zurück!
Wollen sie das Gerät zurückgesendet? Es ist wertlos!.
Ein Betrieb mit einem PC führt regelmäßig zu einem Absturz. Also
Niemals anstecken.
Ich habe Fotos von den internen Fehlern.
Brauchen sie diese um das Herstellen die mangelhafte Zusammenbau Arbeit
zu belegen.

Hello.
I have
already reported abundantly about the internal hardware errors.
RTL_SDR_Delphin
There is
another very significant error coming!
IMPORTANT
: Pass this information to the manufacturer.
The
advertised shortwave function ( CW )is NOT POSSIBLE !
Thus,
this device may not be resold, because it does not correspond to the
specifications.
Reason:
The
shortwave amplifier transistor is NOT supplied with +5 Volt.
So this
transistor is without function and the shortwave is not forwarded to
the USB
stick.
Cause:
The USB
dongle built into the unit is the wrong type than like earlier versions
of this
unit.
You can
see this by the turned electrolytic capacitor at the voltage regulator.
This +5
or 3.3 volts should be passed through a hole to the board.
However,
since a wrong module was used, there is NO voltage connection here.
I am
appalled by this grossly negligent assembly of the manufacturer.

Hallo.
Ich habe schon reichlich über die internen Hardwarefehler berichtet.
RTL_SDR_Delphin
Es kommt ein weiter, sehr wesentlicher Fehler hinzu!
WICHTIG : Geben Sie diese Information an den
Hersteller
weiter.
Die Beworbene Kurzwellenfunktion ( CW )ist
NICHT Möglich
!
Damit darf dieses Gerät nicht weiter verkauft werden, den es entspricht
nicht
den Angaben.
Begründung:
Der Kurzwellen Verstärker Transistor wird NICHT mit +5 Volt versorgt.
Damit ist dieser Transistor ohne Funktion und die Kurzwelle wird nicht
an
den USB Stick weitergeleitet.
Ursache:
Der im Gerät verbaute USB Dongle ist der
falsche Typ als
wie frühere Versionen dieses Gerätes.
Man erkennt dies an dem gedrehten Elektrolyt
Kondensator
am Spannungsregler.
Diese +5 oder 3.3 Volt sollte
durch ein Loch an die Platine weitergeleitet
werden.
Da jedoch ein falsches Modul benutzt wurde, ist hier jedoch KEIN
Spannungs Anschluss
Ich bin entsetzt über diese grob fahrlässige
Montage des
Herstellers.
