Jakob Werner

I am a third year Ph.D. student of mathematics at the University of Regensburg under the supervision of Prof. Klaus Künnemann and member of the SFB 1085 – Higher Invariants.

Research

My research is in arithmetic geometry and more specifically in non-Archimedean Arakelov geometry. Even more specifically, I am thinking about characteristic classes of metrized vector bundles over Berkovich analytic spaces. Important techniques in my research are also related to tropical geometry.
