Jakob Werner
I am a third year Ph.D. student of mathematics at the University of Regensburg under the supervision of Prof. Klaus Künnemann and member of the SFB 1085 – Higher Invariants.
Research
My research is in arithmetic geometry and more specifically in non-Archimedean Arakelov geometry.
Even more specifically, I am thinking about characteristic classes of metrized vector bundles over Berkovich analytic spaces.
Important techniques in my research are also related to tropical geometry.
Publications
Conferences
I'm part of the organizing team for the Young Researcher's Conference on Non-Archimedean and Tropical Geometry 2022 which will take place in Regensburg from August 1st to August 5th.
