| Slith Fortification |
This fort was probably taken over by Sliths from humans. It has received quite a battering and many holes in the walls have been plugged with magic barriers. Since the gates are closed and guarded, you will have to get through a barrier. If you enter from the west and go round to the north you will find a barrier which you can walk through at one point if you do not have a piercing crystal or know Dispel Barriers.
The north gate is guarded by a single Slith but reinforcements soon come up. Slightly to the south of the barrier is a pool with three asps.
The Sliths tend to stay where they are, so you can clear one room after the other. There is a bit of not very spectacular loot lying around.
The Slith Chief is together with a two priests, a mage and a warrior in the room to the south of the pool. They drop quite a lot of treasure including coins, a Wand of Lightning, a Fine Slith Spear and an Icy Chain Mail. There are only mundane potions in the chest, but there are lots of potion ingredients on the desks.
There is a locked door in the NW which need Open Doors L3 to open it. As usual there is a hidden door, this time from the south. In the room is a chest which contains some plans and apparently some gems. Taking the gems increases the number of coins on your inventory by 750. There is however no message telling you this.
