In Spring of 2019 I am teaching Math 1553 – Introduction to linear algebra Sections A1, A2 and A3 at Georgia Tech. This page contains only information that is relevant to this course.

Master webpage

The master webpage of all sections can be found here. It also contains the calendar.

For links to Piazza and WeBWorK, see Canvas.

The Syllabus contains all important information. For more information see the master website or Canvas.

The textbook for the course is Interactive Linear Algebra (1553 version) by Dan Margalit and Joe Rabinoff.

There is also an optional reference textbook: Linear Algebra and its Applications by Lay-Lay-Macdonald. I will not be using or discussing this book, or assigning any problems from it, this semester. However, it can be useful if you would like some extra source of practice problems. The last page of the Syllabus explains how to obtain a digital copy.
