Remote Clearing

This clearing is marked as hostile because there are some nasty monsters that must be cleared out. After it has been cleared it serves as a patch of herbs which will grow again if plucked.

This clearing can be approached form the east or the west. In the east are three Cave Slimes which spray acid. Curing L3 will cure acid. A low level party certainly does not have this spell. So if any of your characters are unfortunate enough to get sprayed, you will repeatedly have to heal them until the acid wears off.

In the west are two Viscous Goos which duplicate themselvs if you do not hit them hard enough. You should therefore deal with them like Doomguards: send in only your strongest warrior and speed and bless him/her.

After you have cleared out the monsters you can pick some Spitual and Healing Herbs. If you come back later you will find they have regrown.
