It is always a good idea to talk to everybody and also to walk around the outside before entering. In the NW corner are some mushrooms and in the SE some herbs.
If you have been given the quest by Julz in Patrick's Tower Clodeca will tell that there are some here and also how to recognise them. They are in a crystal box in the room in the NE corner of the town. The door to this room is locked, which should be no problem. The box is however behind a magical barrier on which piercing crystals have no effect. So you must have Dispel Barriers to get these exotic toadstools.
There is no inn in this town but you can rest in a room to the west of the southerm gate.
