You must pass through this dungeon to reach the Emperor Hawthorne.
Outside are a few cave slimes.
Once you get inside you will be confonted by lots of black shades. They are very tricky because you cannot see them. Watch out where they cast thier spells from. I sometimes cast Create Illusions, because it generates lots of helpers, who cannot be placed where Black Shades are.
After you have eliminated all the Black Shades you can explore a bit. To the north is a fresco. On approaching it you will be asked, if you want to insert the Royal Seal into it. Do this only once.
Turn the wheel to the south to open the Portcullis. Outside are some more Black Shades, but no treasure.
